The Bill Reid Gallery is seeking a Collections Technician to assist in processing archival collections related to Bill Reid and his legacy. This role involves cataloging archival materials in the database, including arranging, describing, entering data, and scanning records.
This opportunity is ideal for a student interested in archival studies and Indigenous art, providing hands-on experience in a small, non-profit cultural arts organization. The student will gain practical training in arts administration, an introduction to museum collections management, and insight into the life and career of Bill Reid. They will also have the chance to participate in select public and community events.
