Join us for a special hands-on workshop led by Eila Vallevand, artist and member of the Kwänlin Dün First Nation. In this intimate session, participants will learn the traditional art of creating Ooskie dolls while working with authentic seal pelts.
Guided step-by-step by the artist, you’ll gain insight into the cultural significance of these dolls while creating a meaningful piece to take home. This is a great opportunity to learn directly from an Indigenous experienced maker and discover a creative practice rooted in storytelling and craftsmanship.
Limited to 15 participants. All supplied provided.
