Ross is a Kwakwaka’wakw artist and comes from the small island community of Alert Bay, BC located on the east coast of northern Vancouver Island. He is from the Henderson family from Campbell River and the Whonnock family from Fort Rupert, British Columbia. Ross has been wood carving for about twenty years and specializes in totem poles, rattles, paddles and masks.
