
Online Workshop: Introduction to Northwest Coast Design - Sold out
What's the difference between a crescent and a U-form? Learn about the fundamental shapes and styles of Northwest Coast art, with a special focus on the art of the Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw. Under the guidance of artist Cheryl Wadhams, explore the traditional forms and some of the contemporary approaches and take away your own drawing.
The online workshop will be in two parts:
1. An illustrated presentation on Northwest Coast Art
2. A guided drawing activity

$25 for non-members | $20 for gallery members
This workshop will be presented online. Registrants will receive a link, and the digital workshop package the day before.
You will need access to a printer, a pencil and eraser, and tracing paper (optional) at home. The first part of the discussion will be recorded and archived on our website for future viewing.
