Celebrate Indigenous History Month

First introduced in 2009, this month encourages us to educate ourselves and to take time to recognize the rich history, heritage, resilience, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Turtle Island.

In honour of National Indigenous Peoples' Day, the Gallery is offering free admission on Wednesday, June 22. We are closed on June 21st.

The Bill Reid Gallery has created a free self-guided walking tour of some of the local Indigenous art in downtown Vancouver! Highlights include works by artists such as Bill Reid, Debra Sparrow, and Sonny Assu. Drop by the Bill Reid Gallery to enjoy our new exhibitions and pick up a free tour leaflet. The leaflets will be available after June 15.

Pre-registration will not be required and no limited capacity. As we move through this transition period of lifting restrictions, we encourage everyone to respect the comfort levels of those around them and to maintain social distance.
