Parking

Hornby Street runs north-south and traffic is one way going north. There is meter parking on the street, and on adjacent streets.

There is underground parking below the gallery on weekdays, and in several other parkades along Hornby and on adjacent streets.

The Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art is hidden from view at street level but well worth the effort to discover it. Walking from the corner of Georgia and Hornby towards Dunsmuir, you'll come upon a pair of staircases on the left side of the street that will take you up to a lovely little courtyard. Look to the right and you’ll see the Gallery and Gift Shop entrance.  
 

639 Hornby is in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

  • a leisurely 2-minute stroll from the Burrard Street skytrain station
  • one block north of the Vancouver Art Gallery

Bus Passenger Loading Zone

Buses can drop off passengers at the Loading Zone located on Georgia St between Hornby and Burrard.A wheelchair accessible path is located between Christ Church Cathedral and Cathedral Place. If requested, a Gallery staff member can greet your group at the loading zone.

A wheelchair accessible path is located between Christ Church Cathedral and Cathedral Place. This takes you through the courtyard and to the Gallery entrance.

The exhibitions at the Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art are on two levels. There is an elevator in the Gallery to take you up to the second level.
