Gallery Policies
Accessibility
The
Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art is wheelchair accessible.
A wheelchair accessible path is located between Christ Church Cathedral and Cathedral Place. This takes you through the courtyard and to the Gallery's main entrance.
The exhibitions at the Gallery are on two levels. There is an elevator in the Gallery to take you up to the second level. Accessibility washroom is located on the lower level.
Purses and Bags
We reccomend that you bring only small purses or bags.
Cell Phones and Electronic Devices
In consideration of your fellow visitors to the Gallery, we ask that you please turn off your cell phones or PDA's while visiting.
Food and Beverages
Food and beverages are not permitted in the Gallery.
Photography
Visitors may not photograph or video any works on display anywhere in the Gallery, including Bill Reid's jewelry.
These restrictions are to protect each artist's copyright and to prevent flash photography from harming sensitive works.
Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all Gallery facilities.
Pets
Pets (except certified service animals) are not permitted in the Gallery.
Coatroom
A non-staffed coatroom is available for your convenience.
Strollers
Strollers are permitted in the Gallery.
