Gallery Rental

Nestled in the heart of downtown Vancouver, the Bill Reid Gallery of Northwest Coast Art is a unique event venue just a short walk from major hotels, the Vancouver Convention Centre and public transit. This public gallery, named after the acclaimed Haida artist Bill Reid (1920 – 1998), will leave a lasting impression on your guests. They will be surrounded by the stunning gold jewelry and spectacular sculptures of Bill Reid, and awed by the towering totem pole by James Hart of Haida Gwaii. Enhance the mood with music or a Gallery tour.

"I know I already expressed how wonderful you and your staff were at the event, but I want to let you know that we have been getting incredible feedback not only about the event, but also the gallery! It was the perfect setting and I hope we come back in the future!"
Deirdre Phillips, Event Organizer

"It was a privilege to see this exhibit and hear the stories and songs associated with these masks. The event was beyond our guests' expectations and they very much felt they were part of something special by being at the gallery."
Jennifer Jenkins, Alumni Relations, University of Alberta

Sherryl Parsons, Rare Affairs

"The Bill Reid Gallery was the perfect place to host a reception featuring aboriginal cuisine for delegates to the 23rd Annual Virginia Woolf Conference. The delegates came from all over the world, mainly the United States, and were unfamiliar with Bill Reid's work and the rich cultural and culinary heritage of Canada's aboriginal peoples. The gallery staff provided an educational and welcoming environment, and the reception was easily the highlight of the conference activities for many of the attendees. Thank you so much!"
Helen Wussow, Simon Fraser University

"Just wanted to say what a success our Product Fair was at the Gallery. I don’t think there was a person there who didn’t expound how wonderful the Gallery is. It worked perfectly for us.
A big thanks to all your folks too. You were all so easy and great to work with."
Gail Stroschein, CNA Canada
